Twenty-one years across civil engineering, geotechnical infrastructure and geosynthetics.
Samantha is a registered Professional Engineering Technologist whose career has moved from technical engineering and design into specialist technical, commercial and executive leadership. She has held senior positions within international engineering organisations, across the infrastructure and mining sectors in South Africa and the wider African market — giving her direct exposure to international engineering technologies alongside a working understanding of how they have to be applied in African ground conditions.
She was named SAICE Technologist of the Year. She previously served on the SAICE Durban Branch Committee and, since relocating to Johannesburg, has continued that involvement through mentoring with the SAICE Johannesburg team, technical presentations, CPD activities and industry forums.
Samantha is completing an MBA through Henley Business School, and is developing a structured graduate development programme aimed at building stronger links between academic learning, professional registration and the realities of working in the infrastructure sector.
